Often referred to on the internet as "The Abused Slayer", Shesta
spends quite a lot of his time on screen being beaten up by Dilandau, Allen
or Van, but although the title is evidently well deserved, it's not due
to any hatred or resentment any of the other characters have towards him
(although I sometimes wonder about Allen). I mean who could hate
kawaii iccle Shesta ^_^ You see, the reason poor Shesta is on the recieving
end of everyones anger is mainly because he cares so much about Dilandau-sama!
When Dilanda's mad, the other 'Slayers tend to keep their mouths shut, but
Shesta and Gatty don't seem to care about what happens to them so long as
Dilandau's alright. That same loyalty and devotion
is what constantly puts Shesta into nasty situations with Allen & Van;
so keen is he to protect Dilandau that he is often one of the first into
battle, seeking out the tougher enemies that would pose the greatest threat
to his patron.
Shester may be the shortest
'Slayer, but what he lacks vertically he makes up with valour in battle,
and don't let those big baby-blue eyes fool you! Even
the cutest puppy has fangs. Remember the Dragon Slayers are an elite squad
of guymelef pilots, hand picked by Dilandau himself, if Shesta was as innocent
as he looks do you really think he'd be there?
